Online Art Club (August)

You'll get:

• a link via email to join our online (Zoom) workshop on 25th August at 7pm, where we will chat about the theme 'Portrait Cheats', share some ideas and look through some inspiration. You can focus on your own ideas or join in our suggestions.

• a physical art kit posted to you to help get you started at the workshop.

• if you are a Patreon 'Clubhouse' member, sign in to get your discount code to join this workshop for free.

Sign up by 16th August 2026 to receive your physical art pack - we will be sending you a selection of arty materials in the post to be able to play with in our first workshop. We will post the kits out the following week so that you receive them in time for the workshop.

This series is based on our popular in-person Art Club, a space allowing you to experiment with your own ideas and imagination, prompted by a theme, ideas and inspiration. This workshop will be led by Emily and Kirstie who will share examples and ideas whilst we all make the time for ourselves collectively to be creative. Let outside pressures float away and have a chat about the theme, artists, art and creativity (you are welcome to turn off your microphone if preferred and use the chat function in the call).

There is no pressure to be 'good at art' to be able to enjoy this workshop. We will guide you with suggestions and help you unlock your own ideas and creative solutions as a group.

What you need:

• Your art kit - we will be sending out.

• A selection of pens, pencils, paints etc - there is no pressure to have everything just a selection of what you have.

• A sketchbook of some paper to play on.

• Scissors and glue will be helpful.

• A space in front of your laptop/computer/phone to be able to experiment in with your art supplies.
