About the event
Doug Johnson is a based Midlands artist known for his beautiful Lino and wood carvings.
“My prints tend to start with some pencil sketches, I let them stew for a few weeks, before starting cutting the Lino.”
He often works in black ink and likes to play with contrast, enjoying working with lots of details and small cuts.
You may recognise Doug from taking part in series 7 of Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year and you may have found him at Glastonbury this year running workshops!
